Don't Waste your Money

I started going the CWMC in the hopes that they could get me on track with regards to weight management. That's what their name says....Calgary WEIGHT Management Centre. That's not what they do. Their focus is on Health Management, not weight management. After 6 months of going there with no change at all in my weight I decided that it wasn't for me. My health was fine when I started going there. It was my weight that I wanted help with. They didn't tell me that that wasn't their focus, they just signed me up. Since I was healthy when I went in there I asked the physician how they measure their results? She told me that they don't. Ok, so how do they know if they have done their job? I feel that I was mislead by their name and by the program in general. I let the Dr. know of my concerns and she told me that I wasn't obligated to go anymore however I would lose my $300 deposit. I knew this already, what I didn't know is that they would continue to take monthly payments from my cc. I feel that they are misleading people into thinking that they can help them lose weight when that is not actually their focus although they don't disclose this. They even have you weigh in every time you see the Dr. Why? If there focus is health and not weightloss?

Hmmm...I always thought being healthy = makes you the right weight? If you want to be the right weight your for your height and age, you must eat healthy and exercise obviously.

Remember, if you are over weight then you are not eating healthy to begin with, there is something wrong with your eating habits for sure.

So yes, they were trying to teach you how to eat properly, the correct foods so you can lose weight the right way. They could have given you dangerous diet pills and put your health on the back burner, that way you'd lose weight too but you'd gain it right back up after you stop with the pills and ***...
